A Monument The Cunning Little Vixen

 

In the Chronicle of Nová Huť Ostrava, today Mittal Steel, it is written: "the most interesting contract for the operation of the foundry was making of bronze casting of the Cunning Little Vixen according to the Karel Vávra model in 1962. The sculpture is located in the Hukvaldy Park to commemorate the first placing of Leoš Janáček's Opera "the Cunning Little Vixen". The position of the Memorial was initiated by foresters and hunters of the Ostrava region in 1959. A monument is a rewarding object for photography. Fox has a golden tail, which can a human touch and make a wish. Wish should be meet a year.
